Warren E. Andrews opened W.E. Andrews Co. in Watertown, Massachusetts in 1949, selling office supplies and operating a lettershop. The office supply business was sold in 1953, and W.E. Andrews Co., Inc. then concentrated solely on commercial printing in a new facility in Waltham until 1970. Since 1970, W.E. Andrews Co., Inc. has operated from the Bedford, MA facility, where it operates as RR Donnelley today.
- 1983: W.E. Andrews Co., Inc. was acquired by Graphic Industries, Inc. (GII).
- 1997: In December, GII joined the Wallace family of companies, forming the Commercial Print Division.
- 2003: In May, Moore Wallace Incorporated was formed when Moore Corporation Limited acquired Wallace Computer Service.
- 2004: In February, RR Donnelley and Moore Wallace combined companies, creating the largest printing company in North America, and the world's premier full-service commercial printer.
Our facility leads the way in heat-set web and sheetfed commercial printing. Our industry leader role has been exemplary:

- 1978: We purchased the first heat-set half-web press in New England.
- 1988: We had the first 8-color sheetfed press in New England.
- 1998: We began operating Scitex's thermal CTP (Computer-to-Plate) device, the first worldwide.
- 2001: We were named "International Printer of the Year" by Sappi worldwide.
Today we continue to lead the way, utilizing the most current technologies and state-of-the-art equipment, and employing the most experienced professionals.
We are New England's Finest Team.
