You've been there. It's 4:00 p.m. and the courier delivers the proofs. You have exactly two hours to route the proofs to your customer, "translate" their changes, and get the proofs back to the printer by morning.
To address these challenges, we offer "InSite" - Nielsen's remote soft proofing system. Now, instead of receiving your proof late in the day, you'll receive an e-mail notification that your proof has been posted to a secure web site. You can then access the proof electronically, annotate changes, and return it immediately.
Multiple approvals required? No problem. The Nielsen InSite proof allows you to specify the approvers and give them limited or unlimited rights to annotate the proof.
What's more, InSite will notify you via e-mail as the approvers have "signed off" on the proof and will allow you to view their annotations.
Nielsen's InSite proof is a "RIP-based" proofing system. That means it's working from the same data that we'll be printing from. There is no chance that multiple revisions will be stored on our servers and no risk of annotating an outdated document file.
InSite is fast. Because the system uses a "compressed and segmented" high resolution file format, you'll be moving relatively small data files across your Internet connection. Using a high-speed modem connection, the refresh rate for an 8 1/2 x 11 page is typically less than 5 seconds.
- Secured site - password protected
- Ability to allow any one or any group on the customer-designated proofer list to approve
- Comments, changes, and approvals captured on the page while viewing proofs
- Automatic version control including tracking revisions, specific comments, and changes
