Metal stand-off labels
The flexible, easy-to-use, metal stand-off label is a simple solution to a difficult problem. RFID labels mounted directly to metal surfaces do not work because the presence of the metal detunes the tag antenna. But spacing the label off of the metal surface allows the tag to once again work. The metal stand-off is available as a two-part kit - an RFID label with a special adhesive and a foam standoff with adhesive laminated on one side.
RFID smart label advantages:
- enhance process efficiencies
- improve accuracy of tracking and eliminate manual scanning
- eliminate the need to stage containers to accommodate bar code “line of sight” requirements
- scan multiple products simultaneously without unloading
- introduce supply chain visibility
- improve inventory and asset management
- streamline work in process operations
- deter theft and counterfeiting
- take inventory in minutes not days
