In order to bring down the per-unit price, you had to increase the print order. The Digital Print System has changed that scenario. The RR Donnelley Digital Print System utilizes high-speed digital presses for laserprint-based production of publications from digitized files. Every page printed on these digital presses is an original, so high-quality is maintained throughout a print run without the waste and costs intrinsic to the offset printing process. Manufacturing schedules are greatly reduced in this print environment, yielding quick turn-around and delivery… whether you are printing 10, 100, or 1000 books.
