Typically the GDS project manager is responsible for:
Review of the implementation plans, allocation of responsibilities and commitment of hours
The management of the implementation plan
The ongoing development of the project plan itself
Overall delivery of the plan milestones
Liaison with the management sponsors from both the client and GDS
Our implementation teams also take responsibility for maintaining the necessary governance on all projects including:
Risk registers
Project boards
Financial management against budgets
The project owner from the client is typically responsible for:
Review of the implementation plans, allocation of responsibilities and commitment of hours
Facilitating the necessary action within their organisation to enable the implementation of the plans
Liaising with their senior management to ensure on-going agreement with progress and developments
Sign off of each stage of the joint implementation plan
